Step 1: Add a Connector
First, let’s connect to your data source.1
Open Connectors
Click Connectors in the sidebar

Create New Connection
Click + New Connector

Enter Details
For PostgreSQL: - Host: your-database-host.com - Port: 5432 -
Database: your_database_name - Username: your_username -
Password: your_password

Test & Save
Click Test Connection, then Save
Step 2: Ask Genie
Now let’s ask your first question!1
Go to Home
Click Home in the sidebar

Type Your Question
Try something like:
“How many records are in the users table?”

Press Enter
Genie will generate a query and show you the results
Step 3: Explore Results
Genie’s response includes:- The Query: The SQL that Genie wrote for you
- Results Table: The data returned
- Insights: Any patterns Genie noticed
